Nigerian Musician INUMIDUN CLASSIC Has Just Released A Brand Spanking New Track On The Market That She Says Is All About Affirming Her Faith In The Lord !

Inumidun Classic:

My Birth names are OLAMILOKUN SERAH OLUWASEUN INUMIDUN

Inumidun Classic:

I love that Inumidun and Classic world is my business name so I preferred to be called Inumidun Classic.

Styne:

Where exactly do you hail from Inumidun?

Inumidun Classic:

Osun State Iree precisely

Styne:

So you are representing huh?

Inumidun Classic:

Yes, but was born and brought up in Lagos. I’m currently based in Ibadan.

Styne:

Music, passion or obligation?… What’s it like for you?

Inumidun Classic:

Passion, since childhood.

Styne:

Tell us a bit about your family.

Inumidun Classic:

I’m the only surviving child of my parent. My mother is late though, I lost her in 2011. My Father is still alive.

Styne:

I’m sorry to hear that. May her soul rest in peace.

Inumidun Classic:

Inumidun Classic:

She sounds interesting. Is she the inspiration for your genre?

Inumidun Classic:

Yes,very interesting, I’m telling you, you can’t understand, smile. I actually dropped music at a point I lost hope but then I watched one of her live mass performances and my spirit geared up with tears. I cried profusely that night. Shola Allyson can’t possibly understand how much she has helped my spirit. Thats about it.

Styne:

So gospel is the only music Major for you?

Inumidun Classic:

Yes

Styne:

I admire your focus. That way you can perfect your art in ways beyond others.

Do you feel your past has a role to play in the feel of your music?

Inumidun Classic:

Hmmmmm,my past has been an inspiration to my career. Everytime I looked back at my past I have nothing to say than thank you God. Everything happens for a reason, my past has always inspired me to be a better person for today and tomorrow.

Styne:

Well put. Where do you see yourself in ten years from now?

Inumidun Classic:

Making exploits, at the top, blessings and lifting souls. And being the best version of myself.

Styne:

What do you think about the way the world is now?

Inumidun Classic:

Only God can intervene. We need to seek to God’s face.

Styne:

Inumidun Classic:

We should all try to live with a pure heart, a simple life style it costs nothing. And we shouldn’t look down on anyone no matter position we hold, we ain’t better than God.

Afriblinksblog to launch first phase of its hip-hop competition called « Afriblinksblog Rap-Battle »

What is Afriblinksblog Rap-battle? This is a yearly hiphop competition/ Mc battle organised by the Afriblinksblog team in order to uplift the African hiphop culture.

Many people easily dance to afro-beat, play in it public… but feel reluctant to play Hip-hop same way. Some people think hip-hop is only to be played in lone moments.

Afriblinksblog is trying to eradicate this notion by launching its first phase of the rap-battle on 17th June.

This competition will be a yearly music microphone fight that bribg league of rappers together in order to encourage them to be better Mc’s whilst learning from others.

Why is the Afriblinksblog Rap-battle important ?

  1. It will create a competitive spirit amongst rappers which will make them to step up their game

  2. It will bring exposure to rappers.

  3. It will gather rappers from different angles to discover themselves and probably work on different projects together.
  4. Has a financial benefit
  5. Winner gets free video shoot, music production and a featuring with a Cameroonian celebrated rapper.

How does that sound ?

The first phase of this competition is online. Meaning, competitors will be expected to submit their content via WhatsApp +237651326358 to participate.

The first phase starts on 24th June and ends on July 8. The second phase starts from 20th July to 27th.

And the last phase from 5th August to 10th August.

On 20th August, the winner will be announced and handed his prize.

What’s the prize ?

Winner of the Afriblinksblog Rap-Battle will have the opportunity to feature Cameroon’s microphone Njorku, Mic Monsta.

Mic Monsta has been consistnly one of Cameroon’s greatest hip-hop acts of all time. The first edition of this hiphop competition has the honour to bring the Microphone Njorku to the table.

Again, it will be bringing Cameroon’s most versatile music producer Mccoy TWAP and the screen colouring god himself, Tecno Brian who will shoot a free music video for the winner of this competition.

Also, the winner will go home with a cash prize of 250,000 FCFA.

All beats will be provided for download on (www.afriblinks.com) when the competition is announced. Each rapper submits a maximum and minimum of 1 minute video.

The rules to participate in this competition will be made available on the site as well alongside the beats.
