The Fact About 5G Network And COVID-19 According to Experts That Nigerians Need to Know

Let’s take things one after the other. The reason you are here is probably that you have either listened to a WhatsApp broadcast claiming that 5G harms human health.

If that is not the case, you probably have stumbled at a viral video either on YouTube or somewhere else of Keri Hilson, a popular American actress and singer or Thomas Coman, a controversial American Doctor.

Well, the summary of whatever video you watch is that they both believe and preached that the network makes it easier for Disease to attack humans. Making many people believe that the network must have accelerated the action of Coronavirus because the City of Wuhan where the virus emanated is in full operation on it.

Well, their arguments seem logical until you start to have deeper thoughts. If you say that the network is why the rate of COVID-19 in Africa is low, then what about countries like France, Malaysia and Singapore who are not on 5G network as confirmed by AFP FACT.

So now you have seen funny reactions right? Yeah, that is kinda crazy but let’s now summarize the conclusion by going back to our questions asked earlier.

Question 1: ‘Does the 5G network affect our health?

To an acceptable extent! But not in the way of huge impact. The truth of the matter is that everything technology we use affects our health to some extent. According to the article by Tijani, he quoted WHO where they admitted that the radiation has just small effect like the normal call we make generates some radiations but they are within the acceptable standard and there is no evidence of it accelerating diseases according to them.

Question 2: ‘Can 5G Accelerate the action of COVID-19?

No! The explanation so far by experts shows that it doesn’t Accelerate disease infection based on the research that has been done so far by the scientists. This is based on the statement attributed to WHO by Tijani of AFP fact Check.

Question 3: ‘Is the low cases of Coronavirus in Africa, Nigeria inclusive, as a result of the absence of the network?

No! Expert has not given any very strong reason as to why the spread of Coronavirus is not much in Nigeria and Africa as a whole, however, there have been speculations that the high temperature might have contributed to the lesser number of cases.

Focox AT Officially Signs with Lucky Lisiano Records in Landmark Deal That Redefines Artist Empowerment

Published

on

In a move that is already sending shockwaves through the Afrobeats and global music communities, rising force Focox AT has officially signed with Lucky Lisiano Records (LLR). The contract is being widely described as one of the most artist-favorable deals ever put on paper — a rare, heavily enriched agreement that prioritizes the artist’s long-term ownership, creative control, and financial upside in ways rarely seen in modern label partnerships.

Based in Warri, Nigeria, Focox AT brings a distinctive sound and unfiltered energy that has been building momentum across the continent. Lucky Lisiano Records, headquartered in the United States, recognized the unique opportunity and moved decisively. The resulting partnership is being called “promising and unique” by both camps — a genuine bridge between Warri’s raw creative fire and LLR’s international infrastructure.

Under the new agreement, Focox AT will begin the partnership with two singles, followed by a full EP scheduled for release in the new year. Both artist and label have expressed strong excitement about the road ahead, describing the union as a true meeting of vision rather than a standard transactional signing.

There has also been growing talk of Lucky Lisiano Records establishing a physical headquarters in Nigeria, though no official timeline has been confirmed. Industry observers note that such a move would mark a significant expansion for the U.S.-based label and further solidify its commitment to African talent. With the first single expected August 14th 2026 and the EP locked in for mid 2027, both sides are already looking ahead. The consensus is clear: this partnership is built for impact. 2027 is shaping up to be a year of serious momentum.
