Peter Obi and LP sue INEC, Tinubu, and APC

Labour Party candidate Peter Obi has sued the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Bola Tinubu.

The country has been chaotic after INEC declared the results in favor of the presidential candidate for All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

Many Nigerans have taken to social media to call out INEC over their alleged rigging of the elections. Others have refused to accept Bola Tinubu as their president.

Peter Obi during a press conference yesterday emphasized that the Labour Party won the 2023 general elections; hence will be taking legal actions .

A few hours ago, a court of summons was leaked online where Peter Obi and his Labour Party have sued INEC, the APC and Bola Tinubu.

Seyi Vibez Hits No 1 On Apple Music, Days After Zinoleesky Said He Can’t, Even with Help Of Native Doctor

Seyi Vibez, topped the Apple Music Top 100 despite his colleague zinoleesky criticizing his musical abilities.

It should be noted that Seyi released the track ‘Hat trick’ a few days ago in the midst of his feud with Zinoleesky, who told him that the song would fail even if he consulted a Babalawo – herbalist.

“If you like meet original babalawo wey sabi, your song will not smell number 1” he says.

Only a week after its release, the single has surpassed a lot of songs on the Apple Music Top Songs  and is currently topping the list.

Seyi Vibez’ Hat Trick overtook Young John’s Aquafina, Asake and Olamide’s Amapiano, and most especially, Zinoleesky’s A1 which currently seats at number five.

Nigeria Customs Sets To Ban Okrika Clothes, Gives Reasons

The Nigeria Customs Service has announced plans to ban the selling of Okrika clothing in Nigeria.

During a recent interview, a Customs Service representative stated that the selling of Okrika clothing was harmful to the nation as a whole.

In his words:

“Okrika clothes is injurious to the health of the nation. That is why government deem it fit that it should be banned.

“One should be curious. Nobody knows how and who used these clothings. And most importantly smugglers desirous to turn Nigeria into a dumping ground. We should not accept it.

“We are a country well blessed with human and natural resources. Why will someone go and bring used products?”

Naira Extends Stability At Official Foreign Exchange Market

The naira has further strengthened against the dollar, reports have shown.

The naira strengthened against the dollar at the Investors’ and Exporters’ window.

The local currency had remained constant for three successive days, exchanging at N464.67 to the dollar Wednesday.

The naira did not change from its value on Tuesday, while the open indicative rate closed at N464.79 to the dollar.

An exchange rate of N476 to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N464.67.

The naira sold for as low as 460 to the dollar within the day’s trading.

At the end of Wednesday, 140.31 million dollars was traded at the official Investors and Exporters window.

Meanwhile, the Dollar to Naira black market exchange rate is between N750 and N780, with an average of N761.67 on Wednesday.
