‘My sickness is a spiritual attack’ – Veteran actor, Pa Kasumu

Ailing veteran actor, Kayode Odumosu, better known as Pa Kasumu, has said that his sickness is of a spiritual nature and not medical as many have presumed.

The popular Yoruba actor whose health status became worrisome after a video showed his frail state, told Saturday Beats that all he needs are fervent prayers and not financial aid from well-wishers and well-meaning Nigerians.

Pa Kasumu said, “For now, I don’t need any help. All I need is prayer. All I can say about my sickness is that it is spiritual. That’s why I said it requires prayer. I’m currently at a church camp for its annual congress. God should take care of me. I will stay at the camp till the congress ends.”

My Dad Brought Internet to Nigeria – Veteran Singer Claims

Veteran Nigerian singer, ElDee the Don has revealed that his father brought internet to Nigeria.

Speaking in a recent nterview with media personality, JOI, ElDee said although he studied architecture, he inherited ICT knowledge from his father.

The ex-member of the disbanded Trybemen said, “My dad was the person that brought the internet, the very first person that brought the internet to Nigeria. So, he set up pretty much everyone; all the companies that initially, all the first cybercafés that you know. All of those connections came through my popcy.

“He was an IT guy. So, naturally, by association, I dey very align to IT even though I studied architecture.”

He said the Nigerian musicians he currently listens to are Fireboy DML, Oxlade, Joeboy, Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage and Mavins artists.

Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, the Nollywood actor and media personality, who is also known as Nedu, has talked about whether or not he can marry an older woman.

He revealed that he can only marry an older woman on the condition that she is richer than him.

He made this known on the recent episode of the The Honest Bunch podcast co-hosted by him.

The thespian said, “I cannot marry an older woman. It is not possible. The only time I can marry an older woman is when she is Melinda Gates.

“Shouout to Regina Daniels for marrying Ned Nwoko. Shouout to Ned Nwoko for keeping his A-game all the time.”

Nedu divorced his wife last year after accusing her of infidelity and paternity fraud.

Nollywood box office king Funke Akindele has teased her fans with the second part of her movie, Omo Ghetto The Saga.

Funke Akindele spoke about this new movie on the microblogging platform, Twitter, where she declared that Omo Ghetto The Saga 2 is loading.

Funke Akindele’s statement was a response to the question of a fan regarding the movie. A fan of the actress, identified as Ayomide, asked if they should anticipate the second part of the movie.

She tweeted, “Should we be expecting Omo Ghetto The Saga 2, or we should not think about it.”

Recall that Funke Akindele’s Omo Ghetto The Saga broke the 4 years box office record of Kemi Adetiba, to be the highest grossing Nollywood movie of all time.

It is currently in the second spot, being dethroned by Funke Akindele’s latest movie, Battle on Buka Street.

The award-winning actress is yet to disclose the date, timing and platform she would be releasing her latest movie.

Kilamity recalls that Funke Akindele broke another record in the Nigerian film industry. She beat her own records for the highest-grossing film at the Nigeria box office.

A post shared by Film One revealed that Funke Akindele’s latest movie, Battle on Buka Street, broke the record of her 2020 released film, Omo Ghetto The Saga.

Battle on Buka Street netted 640 million naira at the box office, beating Omo Ghetto the Saga of 636 million naira.

Filmone on Instagram noted that the only competition the actress had was with herself.
