[Music+Video]: Jocelyn Chinwe – God Of Universe
Gospel Music Minister Joycelyn Chinwe is originally from Isu L.G.A. Imo State, Nigeria. She was born to Late Elder-Chief Levi O. Nwachinemere & Deaconess Mrs. Juliana Nwachinemere. She left Nigeria during the early years of her life to complete her high school education in the United States of America. Academically, Joycelyn Chinwe attended the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC), University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), Coppin State University, and Walden University, obtaining a Pharmacy Technician Certification, Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing degree and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing.
Her music ministry started at First African Gospel Mission Church, Nigeria. According to Joycelyn Chinwe, being a recording Gospel Artist is a calling from God. “I have always enjoyed singing and praising God but do not know how far God destined it. Having lived in Nigeria during the formative years of her life accorded her the privilege to learn and immerse herself in the Gospel. Her father gave her unrestricted access to church activities at the local church. She developed an interest in singing and decided to join the Junior League Choir, which allowed her to participate in many church programs such as ordinations, conventions, crusades, and seminars. Someone convinced her and a relative to sing a Special Number jointly at a particular crusade program.
After the song ministration, the senior choir leader recruited her and the relative into joining the senior choir at nine years old, where she served until her relocation to the States.
As a gospel music minister, she is called to be an evangelical-inspirational singer to share the joy of Jesus Christ, with a central theme of “Jesus as the melody to a joyful life.” The revelational message behind her ministry is that anyone who desires joyful life should seek Jesus as the melody behind such life. The official calling started in 2016 with dreams, revelations, prophecies, and numerous songs received from God at different times and seasons.
It was overwhelming to her at first how to start the mission. However, God’s grace has made it possible. In 2019, she ultimately yielded to the calling to serve God in music ministry, leading to the production of her first song in 2020, “ God of Universe.” She has 4 singles and an album of 8 songs, “Joy Manifest,” released in March 2022. Joycelyn Chinwe is a mother and a wife, happily married and blessed with four children. She resides in Maryland, U.SA, serving as a worship leader in her congregations. She loves people and plans to extend her ministry to benefit women and children.
Her friends fondly call her “ChiChi.” She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and learning when she is not working. Her social media handles on YouTube and Instagram are Joyful Life Melodies and Joycelyn Chinwe on Facebook.
