“I don’t care if Portable has multiple babymams” – Actress, Ashabi Simple

Published

on

Nigerian film actress, Akinyanju Omobolarinde aka Ashabi Simple, has opened up on why she is not bothered and couldn’t care less that her man, controversial street artiste, Portable, is married with multiple baby mamas.

The aspiring actress disclosed that prior to her relationship with Portable, she knew he was already married with multiple kids so it makes no sense for it to bother her now.

Ashabi Simple who is Portable’s latest baby mama raised the question of who would assist her in caring for Portable if she were to succeed in driving away his wife, Zainab.

She admitted that she cannot single-handedly manage the responsibilities of the controversial singer so it’s a plus that they are many.

Referring to him as her husband, Ashabi who earlier spoke on why she agreed to date Portable despite knowing she would be taunted, praised him for providing for her.

The Thespian further acknowledged that many single men cannot accomplish half of what he does for her and vowed to stand by his side indefinitely.

Condemning the interfering ’online in-laws’ in a now-deleted video, Ashabi urged them to respect her position as one of the singer’s ‘wives’ and allow her to be.

In her words:

“My husband is married, he has baby mamas which I knew before being with him. Anytime he posts his wife I am not sad, because I know she is his wife.

If I pursue her who would be taking care of our husband? I can’t take care of him alone, he is our husband. I can’t send her away and besides I am not the first woman to get married to a married man.

I am not sad, I am happy that I have him. The single guys can’t even do half of what he is doing for me. God knows that my heart is happy and he would be my husband forever. God wouldn’t ruin his home for him or allow his wife leave cause I can’t take care of him myself.

I knew he was married before I entered an affair with him.

Online in-laws, what’s your problem that you’re telling me to leave someone’s husband alone? You don’t want me to be depressed but you’re in my comment section saying a lot of things”.

Osabuohien Osaretin, also known as Sarz, a veteran Nigerian song producer, has stated why working with Afrobeats singer Davido is a challenge for him.

Sarz stated in an interview with Cool FM Nigeria in Lagos that he has made multiple fruitless attempts to collaborate with Davido.

He said, “Davido and I have worked but I don’t just know why it never comes out.

“I think the way he works and the way I work are very different. I feel like that is a big difference.

“A lot of times when I get in a session with him, there are just like so many people but I’m very used to working with the artist and maybe like two other people alone. So, when there is so many people, I can’t concentrate.

“And I think he feeds off that. So, it clashes sometimes. This is from perspective. I don’t know what he thinks.

He stated that the YBNL leader was his favourite artiste at the time.

I would probably say Olamide is the one Nigerian I wish I had signed with.” To be honest, I wish I had signed Olamide because he would have signed a slew of new musicians regardless.
