Following Burnaboy nomination for the 2020 Grammy award with other 10 Nigerian stars nominated, something doesn’t still feels right.
Davido’s absence in the list feels somehow. with songs like Blow my mind ft Chris brown and other interesting songs released in 2019 i feel it isn’t right for Davido to be left out. This made Chris brown furious.
Then we heard from an inside source that DMW CEO, Davido‘s first official single of the year “Blow My Mind” has been submitted by Chris Brown‘s Label, RCA to Grammy Award’s organizer for consideration.
That’s a big milestone achieved by Davido on this song, as we await for Sophomore Album this October, we should be celebrating in advance the Grammy nominations that will be bagged by Davido.
From an inside source, we learned it wasn’t only Blow My Mind that was submitted for consideration, that his 2017 hit single “Fall” was also submitted.
If by any chance, one of the songs grabbed a Grammy Nominations, then Afrobeat is indeed going to the World with full force.
