5 Nigerian Artists Who are Graduated with More than 1 Degree, #2 is a Fuji Musician

#1- Femi Adebayo

Popular actor and lawyer, Femi Adebayo is one of the most respected Yoruba actors in Nollywood today.

The Ilorin born actor is one of the few people who do Yoruba movies that bothered to obtain a masters degree to boost their academic profile.

He attended the University of Ilorin where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master of Arts (M. A) degree in Theatre Art.

Femi Adebayo is a Nigerian lawyer, film actor, director, producer and Special Adviser to the Governor of Kwara State on Arts, Culture and Tourism. He is the son of the veteran actor, Adebayo Salami.

He has starred in several Nigerian films, winning four awards as Best Yoruba actor at the 17th African Film Awards popularly known as Afro Hollywood awards at the Stratford Town Hall in London.

#2- Saheed Osupa

Talking about being successful in life, Saheed Akorede Babatunde Okunola Popularly known as Saheed Osupa is a perfect example. His story is always surprising as he grew from nothing to something. Another thing is education life, no Local Fuji musician like him has ever matched his standard in the industry and he is one of the Nigerian celebrities with more than one degree.

Saheed Osupa went to Amuwo Odofin High School in Lagos, where he graduated in 1987. In 1992, he completed his National Diploma programme at The Polytechnic, Ibadan after studying Business Administration. He is an alumnus of the American International College where he studied Networking Operations. He is currently an undergraduate of University of Ibadan

where he is studying Political science.
He is a musician and also Nollywood actor.

#3- Naeto C

Naetochukwu Chikwe, stage name Naeto C, is a Nigerian rapper, Afrobeat artist and record producer. He was born in Houston, Texas and is of Nigerian origin.[1] The Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha appointed Naeto C, as his Special Assistant on Lagos Liaison.

He moved to the United States for higher education both in SUNY Old Westbury and a year later, George Washington University. It was at this time that he met Uzikwendu and Ikechukwu, who was then an aspiring hip-hop artist out of Washington Heights, New York. The trio went on to form the World Famous Akademy, a brotherhood of musicians.

They planned to grow into an independent record label but could not get their hands on the proper funds.

Naeto C graduated in 2004 from the George Washington University with a BSc. in Biology, intending to go study further and become a medical doctor.

4- Hafiz Oyetoro (Saka)

Hafiz Oyetoro is a comedian and theatre arts practitioner. He was born in Adegbola town of Iseyin Local Government Area, Oyo State, Nigeria. His parents had eight children and he is the fifth child in the group.

University, Osun State, where he studied Theatre Arts and also earned a Master’s degree in Theatre Arts with specialisation in African Dance at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State.

5- Ebuka Obi-Uchendu

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is a Nigerian lawyer and media personality from Okija in Anambra State, Nigeria. He had his secondary education at Christ The King College Abuja, graduating in 1997, before getting his university education at the University of Abuja, up until 2004.

He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School Bwari, Abuja finishing in 2005 and then returned to school after a 5 year working gap, graduating in December 2010 from the Washington College of Law of the American University Washington DC, with
Master of Laws degree specializations in Intellectual Property as well as Communications law from the Law and Government program.

He is the anchor of Rubbin’ Minds, a popular TV talk-show and acts atimes.
